Thanks. That's a big help. I'm kind of surprised no one has any endorsements here. No loving reviews? Haven't used a "proper" interface for my iPad yet (just a crummy iRig). Personally, I'm leaning towards the Sonoma Guitar Jack 2- made in USA per the FAQ, and supposedly the A/D is pretty decent.

Wondering if there are any strong endorsements for an iPad4 audio interface yet. It would be swell to sing and play a direct guitar at the same time over a drum machine. Damn, thanks for the heads-up! I was a Tracktion user from v1. I've since moved on to Reaper, but heck yes I'd give Tracktion another look if they brought it up to a 2012 feature set.
