TL Audio 5001 opamps

Hey There, I recently picked up one of these 4ch mic-pre units. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience in changing the opamps in these? The stock ones look to be the same that are stock in PAIA kits and was thinking of changing these to BurrBrowns (which I did in the PAIA). Any experiences ...

So Im looking to get a set of 4 mic pre's. Currently these 2 are looking good. Both are similar price wise. I dont mind having to build the JLMs although there is no metering... Timeline Microlynx to control MS-16?

Hey there,
A friend of mine who works in a TV post-production studio gave me a heads up on a cheap Microlynx sync machine.
I was wondering if its possible to control a Tascam MS-16 with this unit?
Anyone had any experience contolling Analog Tape Machines with these things?
Thanks

Thanks,
We generally run the 2 8ohm cabs(4x10 & 1x15) but sometimes people cant be arsed taking both down the stairs I guess....
Although I have not been drinking the last month after a bad night on the Gin, did have a finger of Jamesons last night.

Artificial Load for Bass Amp

Hello, I have a question re: Speakers Loads & Impedence on amps. The bass player in my band has a Gallien Krueger 400RB head which runs 1 4ohm speaker or 2 8ohm speakers. If we just wanted to take one of our 8ohm cabs to a show is it ok for me to wire a resistor into a jack from tip to ground to mak...

I fixed the problem by making the Y split into 2 4.7k resistors. I still get a little crosstalk though.. Maybe increasing the value to 6.8k or 10k may cut this down?...
thanks

So I went ahead and made it, both channels are spilling into each other not surprisingly.
Id really love some help on this, would putting a LED/diode on each side of the Y split stop the signal going back upstream?
Any other websites I should check out?
thanks
