I have a pair of LA4 comps and the terminal screws are labled: 1 +/- 2 com 3 gnd 4 com 5 +/- what is com? Is it a balanced connection. I used it before with unbalanced environment and I only used +/_ and gnd but now I am wireing my patchbay and I d like to stay balanced...Any suggestions ginglat@att...

I own one of those ...I also own a full manual tell me what pages you need and I will make a copy for you....I do not have a scanner but I can try taking digital photos of the tape path...

I have seen a racked pair of those sold on Ebay for $1300.....but I heard that unracked units sell for about $300 a piece...Correct me if I am wrong.
I was hoping to be able to stay around 1K but who knows maybe I am daydreaming....any comments?
