Seeking small mixer - computer to monitor

My brother was asking me if I know of a very small 2 or 4 channel mixer to sit between his computer and some nicer powered monitors. I guess the biggest consideration is it has to be small and second it has to be cheap. Third would be sound quality. I guess a software mixer won't work for him for so...

Here's one that chaps my ass:

I walk in, pick up an acoustic guitar, start playing. Dude walks up:

What's that?

What's what?

What's that you're playing?

I dunno I just made it up.

Really? Wow, it sounds like something.

Brad 347 is right on the money. I would add: New amps by established companies like Fender and Marshall and AMpeg ship with tubes that will "work" when they arrive at the store, otherwise you have a "return" nightmare. This means that you cannot demo any new amp at a store, so get a return policy. B...

Two cents: I have never been able to tune any Mexican Made Fender guitar. Also, the G&L are very well designed, and if you have a problem with a four bolt neck design, well then, you are disagreeing with Leo Fender.

I don't know if Paul Samwell-Smith produced / engineered that one, but his work with Cat Stevens is phenomenal, plus, he founded the Yardbirds, and was their bassist.

My good story is simple : A 1950's Oahu amp laying in the back marked 'Vintage!, Cool $45' Somebody had replaced the speaker with a Weber too. I dumped it on Ebay for $270 the next week. Bad story: A pair of Octava MC-012s in the display case for $40. I checked them, they sounded real nice. I said s...

I saws the Who in '81 or so, and it was the loudest thing ever. I can't imagine Pete being able to hear the subtlety of a Nagra or a Drawmer, but isn't deafness a great mid band compressor?

Anyway, thanks Pete! Pete! PETE! OVER HERE! PETER! HEY!

1. It's very good musical practice to sit down and perfectly figure out a jazz solo or classical melody or weird chord change once a month or so, just to develop your inner ear and to throw your playing habits out the window for a while. 2. Also write the music, at least the structure, down on paper...

I saw their third show of this tour on their first night in Seattle. I thought it was really un-inspired versus 82 when I saw them. My friend saw them in St. Louis and said "They sucked!" (He's a drummer and saw them in Brazil and Mexico City in the early 80's also.) My bassist friend saw them in Ne...

I think the main consideration would be what I have heard called "The Throw". I guess a 15 throws a specific amplitude farther than a 10.

Given that they are stacked on TOP of each other, that shouldn't make much difference.
