Counting Crowes meets Coldplay. Great vocals, good song, good recording.
I would love to hear about the tracking and mixing of the song. Was it done in a home studio? What widening stuff did you use on the vocals? What was your recording medium?

Re: Storm or Dahlia?
Both of them fill my mind with very perverse thoughts. Storm could make a killing selling bathroom door sized posters. And to think, she used to be a man. Dahlia just has that irreristable rock starlet vibe.
Oh, and they're both awesome vocalists.

Ditch the behringer pre-amp. Those things just sound awful. Even the presonus pre's are a big step up. Those Hamptone JFET kits look like a pretty great deal.

Re: Is it live or PZM to boombox?
Sorry it took so long to get back to this thread. The cymbols are just way to loud, and not creatively placed. This is something I'm really trying to get better at. I'lll have some new stuff soon. Thanks for all the comments.

Sounds really good. I prefer a more traditional arrangement. Pretty damn cool.

Re: another band website with free mp3s
Are you Michael Hedges the incredible acoustic guitarist? You can’t make your music good. You can’t try to be good. You can try to be present and you can try to remain open so what is going to speak to you can speak through you.

Re: Big H little i
It needs more high end instrumentation. A Hi Hat would help fill it out. I like the synth kick. A pad would probably smooth the song out a bit. Possibly a Rhodes. A piano would probably sound nice as well, just for sutle little segways. The drums sound like a loop that isn't quite lined up right. I ...

Thanks,
It was a Warwick bass straight into a soundcraft mixer. I don't remember what plug-ins I used. Probably the 1176 and then the Renassance EQ.
