my guitars are all jap/korean knockoffs! korean tokai ricky 330 copy- its pretty cool, hardware is a bit cheap, and the pickups squeal a bit, but for a $NZ1000, its pretty good 73 japanese epiphone casino. its a funny one- its got stock humbuckers, not P90s, a sheraton tailpiece and its a bolt on ne...

I love it too. I reckon its the best since electro shock blues. The eels just played in Auckland, was a great show. What was shocking tho, was that nearly every song has more or less the same chord progression. Its all C D A E G, moved up and down the capo. Its pretty amazing that hes been writing t...

Dynamix 3000

Hey, my band is looking at getting a console, and have found a Dynamix 3000, 32 channel. Anyone got any opinions on these, and how much they are worth?

Cheers

Another vote for the Dane 12 string. we have one, sounds great, but it never stays in tune. Have been thinking about replacing the aluminum nut with a plastic or bone one, but not sure if thats the problem.

Re: hammond question

This seems to be a electronic hammond, not a tonewheel one. So, if you are looking for 'that' sound, its prob not really what you are after. Its probably not worth very much.

Re: CUBASE SE Users - Your comments, gripes, raves, rants et

We have it for our band, and i really like it. Its really intuitive, takes very little time to figure out. As far as plugins go, we dont bother, its really only used for demos. Its cool as its originally a sequencing program, so it does more than just record. gotta say tho, ableton live is amazing f...

Re: Avoiding a shark attack

we have just been on holiday on an island that is a shark breeding area. there are a lot of sharks out there (once a 1000 hammerheads were seen schooling!) according to my diving friends, if you see a shark, and its interested in you, swim towards it, cos they are so used to things swimming away, th...

Re: Newbie - have some questions

i think what everyone is trying to say is that you have pretty wicked gear. You prob dont need to upgrade as fast as you are. Maybe getting to know your existing equipment before you buy some new stuff would be a good idea. Also, the constant reference to your parents buying you shit is fucking anno...
