I know doo wop was rather diy (starting off anyway) so I don't know if you could really categorize anything as being a doo wop recording technique really... but anyone come across good books and/or websites that talk about recording doo wop music back in the day? I'm recording a neo-doo-wop song soo...

hm.. the aphex is too large... i talking about something portable and battery powered..

yeah, I know about sound devices... but they don't have something really basic.. I don't need a mic and headphone preamp with my limiter..

what I forgot to say was that you should submit something! I'm sure you guys have come across weird sounds when recording, like I have. Submit them! Submit a collage of them. Submit that strange sound your dog makes when he/she yawns, or document the sound of the mice in your walls.

...but what if you want to not use the digi dither and noise shaping for a "export selected as files..." operation? That's selectable in preferences ? ! ? yeah, it's wierd, as far as i can tell, it's set...you can't turn it off and there are no variables to play with.. but I wonder how much dither ...
