Oktava MK-012 matched pair all 6 caps, Joly Premium Mod

Oktava MK-012 matched pair all 6 capsules Michael Joly Premium Electronics Mod. Ugh it REALLY hurts to sell these, they've been awesome. I simply have to pay down some debt and am no longer recording for a living. Michael, if you're reading, these are the only pair of SDC's I'll ever need, wish I wa...

i am extremely happy with archer records in detroit. they were cheap and fast, and the quality was great. much more so than pirates press/GZ which I have also tried. i even got a personal tour of archer's facility!

jeez, that's cheap! where did you find such a good deal? the express cards themselves seem to be $300-$400 on e-bay. Are you sure you didn't get the older, PCMCIA type card? -john I just bought a used Multiface (I) and express card for $300 so if you are looking used, you can go that route. The Mult...

ok, good to know. so which firewire device are you using and how do you like it? I have a Dell running XP and it is quirky with the little 4 pin FW port. Works fine with a 6 pin express card. I disable the 4 pin device when I use the express card anyway so there isn't any system drain that I can tel...

AD/DA options for a laptop with expresscard - RME Multiface

I just (finally!) got a laptop so I can record on the go without lugging around a huge rack. Now I'm looking for an interface. This laptop has the expresscard format for i/o. I am lusting after the RME Multiface with expresscard option, but that would cost more than the laptop itself, and I can't af...

i believe they are a lot less prone to feedback, although it's still possible. they pick up vibrations, not sound (though sound is vibrations.. but these only pick up physical vibration or however you want to think of it)

I used to have that board.. the output of your tape machine should be going in to the line inputs of the mixer, not the inserts. the inputs to your tape machine should come from the inserts of the mixer, half-jacked. This was a live mixer, not a studio console, so it has limited routing capability.

i thought it would, but it doesn't. it only cleans out takes that were never used at all, not portions of clips that were cut/slip edited away.
