Personally, I make my decisions for lead tracking, based on the type of music it is and the feel the band is trying to create. I usually prefer to have rhythm on both parts constant. Cool, Yeah, I've been aware that Tape Op takes articles by submission. Great! I'll have to look into that. Andy Sneap's work on the Opeth Lamentations dvd was great...excellent live recording...

I think it is more accurate to import to Pro Tools and work that way. The sound of the software you work with will change the way you hear the cd's you are familiar with. This way the source is the same and the "sound" if you will, of Pro Tools and any effect it has on the sound of the tracks will ...
