Does it use the same "technology" as those ubiquitous Bose countertop hi-fi systems? The Yamaha hype has some stuff about "extended stereo technology".

The "simulated tube glow" earns an automatic 10 point deduction.

I bet it would be nice to have one of these around though.

I once had a series of annoying problems with the volume pot on a TC interface. I eventually got connected with a very small TC tech support dept in CA. The tapeouts do bypass everything. It's what I'm using these days to record some stuff. Seriously Mr.Fanbelow. I know you want what you want and you want it now and to be able to use it all at once and everything but it just doesn't work that way. Slow your roll and learn everything about one or tw...

I love reaper, i think almost everything about it is great, with one big exception. Whenever i try to bring in files from another program i always have tremendous issues. I've been on the reaper forum and followed all the advice i've gotten but it still happens. Some on the forums have denied that ...

Does the 424 have RCA outputs that correspond to each of the 4 tracks? Most tascam cassette machines have these. These are handy, as they bypass the eq section of each channel.

the issue is grounding. you need grounds on those amps or you will be near death at all times when you are near them. a light socket won't do the trick for the grounding you need.

I have owned various sub-$100 retail music players that will play off a USB drive. but they don't always recognize files. Right now the thing is the ROKU. it has a USB slot on the side. It generally recognizes most of the popular music formats, and plays them back. since our TEEVEE is audio plugged ...
