FS: Ampeg SVT-3pro - $600
I have an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro for sale. This thing is in excellent condition - almost mint except for some minor scratches due to regular use. I love this thing and the way it sounds, but i just don't play bass anymore, and I'd like to see it go to a good home. Everything works great. I even have the or...

changing hard drives killed me dead!
Hey guys, Tonight, I removed my slave drive, put in another slave drive to download some files on it, then re-inserted my original slave drive. Now, the computer won't boot. I get the error that my CDR drive can't be found. When I unplug my slave drive, my master boots up fine. Anybody have any idea...

Re: Just Curious...
Your client is absolutely not a moron or an insecure asshole. Sorry, but I think that statement is a little bit short-sighted. Have any of you ever had a haircut that was "good", but that you just didn't like? Or, it just wasn't "you?" Well, the good news is that hair grows back. A record lasts fore...

Re: Good not-too-flat monitors?
I second the Mackie H824s.
Excellent monitors and you can adjust the top and low end w/ switches on the back.

Speaker Wire ---> TS end??
Today was a "new toy landing in your lap" day. My boss gave me an old 2 tier Genie organ. Nothing special, but it does make some cool noises. Here's my question ---- It looks like the old 12" speaker that came with it is long gone. Whoever had it last wired up what looks like an old boom box speaker...

Re: ok to split inputs into a bass amp?
thanks for the responses guys.
When our bass player is playing guitar, the minidisk plays the bass.
Yeah, I'm actually looking at some mini-mixers on ebay right now for that purpose. Good to know that I'm not destroying our brand new SVT, though.
thanks again,

ok to split inputs into a bass amp?
hey y'all, Our bass amp is doing double duty. We've got a Y-splitter feeding the amp's input a bass guitar and a minidisk player. The level is cut quite dramatically compared to just having one of these plugged straight into it. Is this OK from a technical standpoint? It's a new Ampeg SVT3 and it's ...

Re: what's so cool about those Eventides?
yeah, the 3000. Sorry to be so vague. :zzz: I think those are older, right? Seems like 10 years ago or so every pro level studio I went to had one. Maybe they still do. I do most of my recording now, so I don't go to those kinds of studios much anymore. I know they're geared more towards vocal effec...
