FS or trade - Tascam FireOne firewire audio interface

I paid $130 for... if I had to sell it I'd say $90 + shipping. Has original box, firewire cable, power block, driver CD, manual http://img...

Well per the post above I was able to mic and record without being too loud, in fact I'd say it wasn't a problem at all.

But I live with 5 people and theres very rarely a time all of them are gone.

Sorry for the latency , didn't notice this in my attempts until I auditioned the samples and didn't feel like re-recording as I'm experimenting. Ok here I mic'd the Crate not high-volume, not high-gain (maybe about 6.5 - 7) http://www.supload.com/listen?s=4DEN55EJLF20 Here's settings I initially us...

try processing the result thru Boogex with the appropriate speaker impulse (there's a link for downloading a few including Hiwatt and Mesa). I've been trying that for awhile and I really like it. In fact heres some new samples: I did mic these with my AT2020, an inch away from the speaker. Volume w...

If you are going to definitely go direct and you are going into the computer anyway, I think you should give Guitar Rig a try. It rules, there is a new $99 version out now and I beleive the mesa boogie dual rectifier is one of the included amps. The vox also rules and I think that verison may have ...

I was also thinking of getting a humbucker-like mod to the strat, read it in an article years ago in Guitar World or something, costs about $13 and with the flick of a toggle switch you get a fuller sound.

Trying to get decent heavy guitar direct sound... gear help

I'm trying to approximate a better direct guitar sound, heavy. Inspiring tones have been: Sevendust - Denial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vurBKy3h4c Coal Chamber - El Cu Cuy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiA5zK2T6i8 Winers Thrall - Ride http://www.myspace.com/wintersthrall Here's a recording o...

Re: does anyone else dream of being interviewed for tapeop

Or TO could setup at least a section at their site for online-only interviews with readers and/or forum members?

Re: does anyone else dream of being interviewed for tapeop

Interviews with readers and/or 'garage studios' would be cool, I'd like to see how these people, like me, are utilizing their gear, what little gear they do have, and such. As for me being interviewed... I think it's everyone's little dream, to get some recognition, so yeah I do have that little dre...
