Completing our rack of TC -- just picked up a VOICE Works PLUS .. needed a little pitch effect - Dig I/O ! .

Went through a lot of comps -- in 30 years ... If you have the budget :Elysia Xpressor or Chameleon great for the lower end ..

Ended up with the Pro DEQ 2496 Dig/Analog I/O --

Been recording with a Roland DAW for about 20 years ... we use the RME ADi 2 > spdif -- good clock and quality sound ,,...

Just to update ::: After a few years

We still do not have to view or edit a WAV in our screens -- No longer mixing down to a Masterlink

But the Roland VS2480 still running smoothly and we are now mixing down to 2 channels in REAPER ..

I used to visit quite often -- had a very long running thread a long while back ...about not editing or visually seeing WAV's..... still there

Sorry didn't mean actual "booths" -- we just use well padded walls we roll around. Just to keep like the grand piano from the congas ....trap set from vocalist ...etc

We do a minimum of micing the drums -- have lots of gobo's and go direct with the bass & guitars
