The simple answer is no. If you search around you can probably find a schematic for a 48V supply that you could build. I think that would be the best option..

I'm wondering how I should integrate my newly aquired Fostex R8 into my setup. I'm lucky to have aquired it FREE, along with some tape. For those who don't know it's a 8 track reel-to-reel. Yes, the 5881 and 6L6GC are equivalent. The above post that stated that new 6L6's have a 500V max plate voltage is correct. This is the only important factor. Original 5881's have a maximum plate voltage of only 400V, so 500V is certainly adaquate. The only place you would run into trouble is with a...

Forget about the Twin Reverb II. It's awful. Too big for studio work. Not a well engineered amp. All reissue fender amps have printed circuit boards with one exception, which is the new 57 Twin amp. The PCB is not really as important as the parts quality in reissue amps. They use less quality parts ...
