There should be an input labeled "from mixer" or "from PA" or something like that. Use that instead of the instrument input and you'll get 100% wet signal.

I'm quite interested in the Burl as well & will be interested to hear critiques. Yeah there's a separate line out that I'll be connecting to the PA. I'm just asking if not having any speakers hooked up to the power amp would be detrimental.

I need to use just the mixer section of a powered mixer in a live setting where there will be a separate PA. Would having the amp not see a speaker load possible do any damage? It's a Soundcraft Spirit Folio Power Pad, I think like 30 watts.
