Here goes: I know I don't have a lot of posts on the board, but you can check up on me at ebay, jdemarsh23. If you know Darron Burke he'd vouch for me that I'm not a knucklehead as well. Anyway, who wants my Motu 1224 core system? It works great, and I really love it, 'cept I blew my wad on an 828mk...

Yesssss, The Band.. loop that first few seconds of Up On Cripple Creek for hours of enjoyment. Or how about Van Morrison - Caravan . Pretty funky for an Irish guy. Modern stuff... anything remixed by Kruder and Dorfmiester... or the Fila Brazilla remix of Radiohead's Climbing Up The Walls . Or Massi...

So, I'm just quickly thinking this all over in my head. For those of us who don't (yet) have mics capable of a fig. 8 pattern, could a similar effect be achieved with three cardioid mics? That is to say, one cardioid pointed at the source, and two more mics (matched...) oriented 180 degrees opposite...
