Hiss sucks. Don't ever "try" for hiss.

The cello has definition and clarity. The guitar does not.

Hiss sucks, mud sucks. Go for beauty.

I use Craigs List a lot for this kind of thing. I've probably done more purchasing than selling on CL though, including two cars. If you haven't used it in over a year or two, you probably aren't going to and you should man up and let somebody else get some electrons bouncing around with the things ...

I'd call Audio Technica and get them to send you a new rubber band set. They do that for free most times. Parts dept number is 800-443-4669. maybe ask them if they have a mount for the 4050 that has a tighter grip. this: maybe? http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/windscreens_mounts/27a01b03bac646b9/in...

Tape sales is up a little bit over the last few years. Of course its a total trickle of what it was in the 90's and before.

I start with the words.
Usually the first line inspires the rest of the song.
Once I have a verse and a chorus I start to conceptualize the chords and melody.
When the song is done I show it to the band.
Then we go into studio and record it.
Then mix, then master etc....

then give it away free

Gio is a pretty simple device. It sends midi messages to turn effects on and off. How hard can it be to decide whether you want one or not?

first things first.

Most important: good mic placed well and level set well
Next: pre-amp that compliments the mic and the source. good pre makes mic sound way better.
Next: treat the room. almost always ignored and vastly important.

Done all those?
Now mess with your clock or your convertor.

Hi Snarl, This is Donny down at SuperDigital. I have the Zoom R16 and 24 (which has more phantom power) in stock if you want to demo them at home to see if it's a good solution. I also have a lot of used standalone machines like the KorgD3200 and the Yamaha something or other. I also have a DA7 with...

When I was 8 you couldn't STOP me from playing guitar and I'd been begging for one for two years. (I'm old and lazy now of course) Most kids don't really start to focus on an instrument until later its true, but if the kid wants to play let him play. There are lots of child prodigies these days that...
