i put one of these to good use.. it's set up at the factory for ampex (quantegy) 456. it has a combined record/reproduce head so it's a pain to calibrate because you have to record the tone, rewind, and play it back to see if it's right. so far (one year) it has been running without complaint... we ...

I always had to use the lower-case "L" on manual and electric typewriters.

is there a good link for info on these mics? i ask because the name "Grundig" rang a bell and i remembered that i have an oddly shaped mic with that name on it in the attic.. looking at it: two capsules mounted vertically, able to swivel 360 degrees, one cord per capsule for a total of two cords... ...

i only downloaded "the morning's ribcage" (23 minutes on my dial-up!) and i dug it..
