Re: Cake: Fashion Nugget

i always kind of liked this band from a distance. I finally got to see them live about 3 months ago, and I was very impressed. It was a great show. I think I'll have to borrow a copy of one of their albums and give the whole thing a listen too. I mean, come on, "sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell"...

Re: WARNING! MUSICIANS THAT FLY - DON'T USE AMERICA WEST

That sucks brother. I too will not fly America West. A few years ago I took a flight up north with them for the first (and last) time. I brought my bass with me (it did have a case) and checked it in. Well, they lost it & I didn't get it back for longer than I expected. Luckily, it didn't end up rui...

Here's my set up: 24 channel soundcraft analog board; mid 80s model Alesis HD24 harddisk recorder various rack units. Is there a progr...

Re: HOW OLD ARE YOU???

33. Mainly bass, married w/1 son. own a house with a section of it devoted to a studio. I love the fact that I no longer have to go someplace else to record my stuff. I also record local bands once in awhile; strickly word of mouth. Used to tour, but not so much lately; can't find the right band to ...

Does anybody know about those old mics that Barker/Rayburn of match game & the price is right used to use? They're the ones that are very skinny and look like they're about 2 feet long.

Re: Moog Opus 3 - opinions?

I too really like my Opus 3. I was pretty lucky about how I bought mine. A friend of mine bought the unit in Scotland back in the mid 80's. a hard shell case came with it. He never used it, and it pretty much sat in his closet when he came back to the states. The thing was almost new when I bought i...

I too have the headphone amp. I like it a lot. I use their patchbays as well with no problems whatsoever. I also heard about a TRS patchbay coming out. If it works as well as my others, I'll probably go balanced very soon...or at least start doing it.

why would I want to join a political party. they're the reason this country has gradually gotten worse over the years. They have you so worried about the "social issues", that they been have slowly bleeding us dry. Unionization is very crupt. Overpaid, underskilled labor; union officials that have "...

what makes people think that anything is going to change. It's all smoke & mirrors my friends. don't be fooled by what political parties tell you...they all lie all the time; and the american people have been suckered into it for the last 200 years.
