I don't know too much about this, but there's a Korea person making TONS of these DIY headphone amps (and some of them have tubes!).

DIY 1/4" cable for bass cab/speaker
Does anyone know how to make your own speaker cable? I've heard that 1/4" instrument cable should not be used to hook up a amp with its cabinet. I would like to know the wiring differences.

Exporting from Pro Tools/Import Cool Edit
I've been told that Pro Tools can export each track as a WAV and also save sync data into XML. Is there a way for Cool Edit Pro 2 (yes, it's old) to import the sync files? If not, what other software could I use to import them?
