Maybe slightly off topic, Rycote had a nice microphone data book with photos & specs, and some articles. Weighed in at about 1000 pages. Somehow I managed to get a free copy from them... However, the specs are sometimes incomplete, a lot of missing frequency response graphs. It's more or less online...

Thinking that it?s never too late to turn your life around, I quit law school to get into recording/music. This stuff was always on the backburner for me. Fortunately, I have plenty of motivation to change that. I would love to help someone out for lo/no pay. I've recorded some open mics in the past...

Nothing like vox distorted by tubes. I'm new to electronics, but I've been working on a clone of an Altec 1566A. I'm at an impasse.
