Canada just de-criminilized Mary-Jane. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: after my initial shock, I went and looked this up....it's still illegal in Canada, but they're proposing to lower the offense of possession of ~ 1/2 ounce of cheeba to something akin to a traffic ticket, not a huge crimi...

this has some killer square wave distortion capabilities on it. I believe you can mix in the dry signal and you can dial in the sub octave as well.

I highly highly doubt that has effects on it....its all about the right mics in the right places. and a nice room. and a nice sounding/tuned kit. and a talented guy playing it (even tho he's a spaz).

saw 'em live too, many moons ago opening for Dinosaur Jr. (?!) MBV was the prime shoegazer band back then, they barely moved and were so frickin loud...I didn't really get into their whole trip at the time until a few years after the fact. but Loveless is a classic.....that whole night was 'loud ban...

as far as Gruhn goes, they're a great shop and have a fairly cool laidback staff....as time has passed though I find them a little bit over-rated and generally price-y. but they do have some damn fine instruments. if anyone buys from them, make sure you check out whatever you're getting thoroughly -...
