Old B&W 602s are a little pinched sounding but are far better than alot of cheap active "studio monitors" out there. Just get a cheap Adcom to run them with and yer done.

A used MD441's got to be up there. The MD431 is also the world's greatest scratch vocal mic, besides being great on snare.

Er, so how does it sound? Worth getting an Ilok for this? If it isn't a step up from Tapehead I think I might just skip it.

Why do I need an Ilok to run a free plugin? Sigh.
