I like to split the tracks up and send each to their own stereo aux track and process them separately. The mic at the hole has more body and fullness so I pan it harder maybe 85% L/R. Add more reverb to it, boost the lower mids. Transient designer with more sustain. The mic on the neck has more pres...

Guitar stands too cumbersome?
Do what I did and mount a wall mount on the side of your half stack. :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v225/OpethForLife/Dorm/marshall1.jpg It seriously saves tons of space, especially in my dorm. I love it. Also note the pick holder taped to the cab. And don't worry about the re-sale value. I do...

Try this (for some reason, this board shortens URLS's) http://www.angelfire.com/yt3/redtele/redtelectronix.html You can get rid of those stupid ads on top of angelfire sites by using this code: <html> <head> <title></title> </head> <NoEmbed><XMP><body bgcolor="#000000" text="#ffffff" link="#00ff00"...

Re: Lookin to kill flutter in my dorm room.
I live in a dorm, too and I don't have much trouble. Simple because I have tons of crazy crap on the wall. Just general decorations do a lot of good. Posters, whiteboards, tackboards, bookshelves, neon lights, stuffed animals, etc. I personally like the textile posters the best. They cover a lot of ...

Re: my ears have been killing me
Anyone got a way to cut down on bass noise? The kind that is transfered through your bones? Ear plugs actually make it louder, I assume by creating a small cavity for the sound to transfer into the air in front of the ear drum.quote] Yeah, I notice that things get muffled with normal plugs. The bas...

Re: my ears have been killing me
Yeah, I talked to my teacher, and he it was just some clinic on campus that checks people's ears. It's called Tri-City Audiology. I don't know if they have something like that near you. But if you're in Tempe, Arizona you could check that out. You should definately go to a place like that to get the...

Re: Pedal Chain question
If you use a lot of pedals, you need this adapter. It's the best product. You can plug in 5 different pedals with the same adapter. Plus, the cord is longer than usualy so you don't need extension cords. It fits all Boss pedals and most other brands, too. It's like 25 bucks and it's worth every penny.

Yeah, I don't think it's anything serious. They just feel weird for a while after. I usually have them on a lot cuz my roommate and I have clashing music tastes. I should probly just take a break every once in a while.
