The Boss Metal Zone is an interesting pedal if you are looking for nasty, unrefined tones. The sweepable midrange makes is possible to sound like shit at any frequency you choose. Metal Zone never has enough definition live, which can be a good thing if you are looking for that Whipping Boy (Irelan...

Odds and Ends: Intersound, Fender

http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z236/jaguarsg/10dc5a77.jpg Intersound IVP. kinda rare; I mostly used it as a sansamp (wicked EQ), but great for that Steve Albini/Bob Weir tone (oh sweet irony). missing a knob, but so what? $300 - buyer pays shipping. you can read more about it here: http://www.e...

FS - dbx, harris, yamaha

Altec 1612a - not working - SOLD dbx 160xt - gain reduction LEDs not working, but the unit DOES compress/limit. probably a simple fix. - SOLD Yamaha DX7IIFD - the A above middle C is toast. probably could use a battery change as well. - SOLD buyer pays shipping from 60613. PM for pix. thanks.

if you are going with LE and a BLA mod, then get an 002r.

they sound better than modded 003s, IMO.

2) Logic sounds more round and deeper. more 3D. PT is flatter but punchier. hard to describe. if you can, import some CD audio and burn a ref. 3) Interface, mics ... 4) interface, mics ... 5) i think PT might have a little less than Logic, not sure. Logic plugs generally sound better than LE, altho ...

good records can be made on any format. in fact, i know tons of professional records where basics were cut in major studios on HD, while vocals and ODs cut elsewhere with LE. that being said, there are differences between LE and HD: - mix buss on HD sounds better. still sounds like ass to me, but th...
