I have looked at the Sweetwater options but I'd like a tower and not a racked computer.
How about PCAudioLabs? Anyone have experience with them?

My PC based recording system just died (4 year old higher-end Dell), so now I'm looking for a new rig. Switching to Mac is not an option. I'm not comfortable building my own and looked online fo...

Agree...the price is stomach churning...but I've wanted one since seeing the prototype online. I've had it a week and love...

...and air travel...
We had the pleasure of sitting next to the window on a flight home from a gig and we watched a fellow pull baggage off the ramp and throw them onto the baggage truck. Watching your bass and guitars being hurled 10 feet onto a truck is gut wrenching. Those "Fragile" sitckers mean nothing to them. (Al...

In Philly? Try Miner Street.
If you're in Philly I suggest you give Brian McTear a call at Miner Street Recordings. We recorded half our new record there (then mixed it all there)... http://www.deadmilkmen.com/2011/03/19/the-king-in-yellow-is-here/ Brian and the studio also produce the Weathervane Music Series: http://www.shaki...

He's great...
I saw the Police live once (early 80's) and he's awesome...
Just watched an old episode of "The Young Ones" - Brit com from early eighties (anyone else remember it?)
The musical guest was a band with Jools Holland and I recognized Stewart in the drum seat...
