copyright laws
So I just finished a song for this rapper and he has one more request. He wants me to take this intro from a 2pac song and paste it before his track. The intro is like 10 to 15 seconds long. Is this okay or should I tell him sorry, the law prohibits me from doing this. Thanx
Matt

Thanx. I have wavelab even though I don't remember the last time I used it. I'll try that and of course use my ears too. Just today an artist called me and asked if I could turn up his vocal on his track. He said who ever mixed the track no longer has the data files so it's up to me. I'll deffenitly...

Ha, will you record me for a copy of my money? OK foreal. I am more than willing to make some minor changes (only a couple times since he sits in on the mixing session) but he thinks he shouldn't have to pay until the complete project is in his hands. Maybe its my fault for not putting that in contr...

I recently started doing a lot of hip hop. The client I'm dealing with right now is a pain in my ass and was the last time I worked with him. I upped my price and set new rules that he's cool with, but what do you do if a client insists on a copy of the project to make sure it's up to his standards ...
