I have a pair of ADM mic pre's. The front end is very similar to an API ....BUT There is a lot of extraneous circuitry after that which needs to be taken out if they are gonna live up to their potential. I'm not sure if this is part of what Brian Roth does or not. You should also have them re-capped...
