okay, i was banging my head for months, and when the time came, nothing sounded right. so i asked my dog (maya), and she grabbed (eventually) her rescue dog toy with the words "search and rescue" on it...and search & rescue recording was good enough for me, and i'm still very happy with it.

question: as i'm sending rough mixes out the door with a client, and the client paying the balance due upon completion, can/should i be watermarking these mixes? my watermarking i mean, inserting white noise on a channel, and unmuting every once or twice. is this cool, or would i be crossing the lin...

just use the mute button on that channel as your talkback button. thanks man, I don't know what digi was thinking? I like their software but this sucks, I am gonna have to use a open channel but I know its going to get left "open" during a great take and scew it up or a producer is gonna start talki...
