I've checked it over myself: bridge, nut, frets. couldn't locate any obvious problems. I took it to a couple of techs who were either baffled or simply dismissed th...

Re: PLATE REVERB a question about making one
I live in a micro-apartment too. there's gotta be a way to cut down the size and weight. maybe make the plate/frame tall, but real narrow...like 12 inches by 96 inches. the the whole thing could fit upright, and be functional in the back of your closet. course, I don't know much about figerin' physi...

It just took me a while to realize that the songs on this record are a total departure from those on the ...

a few general amp questions...
...guitar amps that is. some of the questions aren't really related, may have come up before(couldn't find 'em in a search though), and may just plain sound dumb...but maybe they will spark smarter questions/answers here goes: -so what is the difference between "tube" watts and "solid state" watts? ...

let's talk about electronic/tuner cleaners
so, I've used it with great results on a lot of things. but, I've also heard that occationally, when a pot is really oxidized(like, the oxidized coating IS what's conducting) spray cleaner will simply flush out everything and the pot is toast. please dispel the myths. help me find truth... thanks

final word on amp output-speaker loads...
...and ohms.
so what's the deal? does an amp crank out more volume when the speaker ohms match the amp ohms?...and more importantly, what happens when an amp wants an 8ohm cab and the cab is 4ohms? vise versa?
let me know. thanks
