I just wanted to thank Tape Op for the article. Men I was excited to see my country's Flag in my favorite magazine! 8) I had the chance to visit the Island many many years ago and though is paradisiacal...it's truly isolated. Kudos to Mauricio for bringing the wonders of Audio Recording to the Pascu...

Thanks for thinking about it and taking the time. I think my response was very clear in explaining why we don't cover these things, and I was in no way saying certain fields in audio were not creative! LC Thanks Larry!! Exactly, that's great. If we judged a recording's worth on how many people hear...

Hi Larry! I was reading your answer to Adam Blacburn regarding the "TV mixing" issue in the letters section, and tough, I think is fair that you want to focus in a broad but specific subject for the magazine ("creative music recording"), I don't think is correct, IMHO, to only relate this other bran...

that's a cool approach, but as a drummer, i'm hitting cymbals artistically based on their pitch, not their location :) You are right, but...there's an almost strict realtionship between the pitch and the usual location in the Drum 8) When I go from an open HiHat to the ride the Kick opens and the s...

Hi. For me, there's two things: First is the song's arrangement. Sometimes inverting the stereo image opens the Mix, creating new spaces that weren't there before. Second, I rather use the Drumers perspective, cause I believe that he's using his artistic talent when deciding which cymbal to hit in t...

Hi there!!
I have exellent results using a ISA 428 thru the ADAT input and clocking my 002 to it. The AD if far superior to the 002's, and when this last one is clocked to the 428...I think it sound much better.
Good luck.................Joaquin.
