Wow, thanks, buddy. It was driving me nuts. I love the jazzmaster body/strat pickup hybrid.

Jagmaster is close, but I don't think it's that. This article says they were only made with rosewood fretboards, and the guitar in this video is a maple.

For vintage sound you must use flatwound strings. Round wound bass strings didn't get common till 70s and 80s. That will be the single best thing you can change if the current strings are not flat wound (if you want vintage sound). Brand: I don't have strong feelings about the brand and or model. G...

What type/brand of strings are you currently using? I'm not sure because I just bought this from a local college kid who didn't know what strings he put on (said he hadn't played it for years and couldn't remember). What would you recommend putting on it? Also, is $225 a good price for a MIM p-bass...

Thanks, Nick. I am going to try the Antiquity 2, since they claim it's best for the 60s tone.

Does anyone recommend upgrading the pots or any other components on these?

How far are you dropping it? You really can't drop it more than 10-15% without it sounding all messed up. However, in the preferences, there is a parameter that allows you to change the algorithm that is used for the time stretching. It is always easier to speed things up than slow them down. Thank...

From the looks of the headstock, it could be a Fernandes Decade - But the pickup selector is in a different place. Also, the Jagmasters have the toggle pickup selector and the guitar in question doesn't. Pause at 1:08. It looks like there is an imperfection on the pickguard right where the pickup s...

With single coil pickups, and no extra electronics options.

Cheers.
Thanks, I think that might be it. They can be routed for 3 single coils?

Did jag masters come without the whammy bar?

It looks like a Jazzmaster body with strat pickups. But there is no wammy bar, pot rollers, or JM bridge (looks like a strat bridge).

Any ideas?

Removing tails from drum loops

Hey guys. I am trying to take a short (20 second) drum loop and have it repeat. The problem is there is some transient tail at the end of the original loop. How do I remove that transient at the exact spot so when I duplicate the entire loop it is seemless? I'm using cubase if that matters, but I am...

One more question: Say I used a 4 output RCA type cable (to match the four outputs on my 4-track) and on the other end had them converge into a 1/8" input for my PC soundcard. Would the soundcard and/or DAW know to dump them as discrete tracks or would I have to mix on the 4 track before sending? If...
