It's been in climate controlled storage since then. back in 2006 It powered up and the lights worked, passes signal, but the take up motor didn't work. It's in good c...

There are actual medical conditions that can cause this as well. It's called Hyperacusis and is most commonly caused by overexposure to loud sounds. I've noticed myself becoming more sensitive to treble in the last few years too and I've always suspected that this was the cause. I don't have any sig...

Any Live Sound Folks here? trying to appraise a snake.
My company has a Ramtech snake that we're looking to sell, and I"m trying to come up with an asking price. I imagine that it can be very much subject to condition and whatnot with something like this, but I'm just trying to get a ballpark price range. It's about 6 years old and hasn't been used that...

A couple other options. I'm going to assume that you want the files to remain lossless, which would preclude simply offering them as MP3s. Foobar is an awesome and free. It's my music player of choice on windows. http://www.foobar2000.org/ This looks interesting, although i've not tried it myself. F...

If I saw one of those for really cheap I'd buy it and scavenge the faders and buttons to make a midi control surface. As a console though, I don't think it'd be worth the space in a home studio. It doesn't have EQ or any sends, looks like it has 4 busses though. It might have a couple channels with ...

That Looks very much like the board we have at the radio station I work at. It's made by Pacific Research and Engineering. They're owned by Harris now I think. The channels on ours have 2 sends and more busses than that one but the housing the meter bridge looks exactly the same. The faders are real...
