Re: I highly recommend REAPER
I just deleted a buncha stuff off my logic hard drive and old logic 9 works again...
I just downloaded mixbus and reaper.
This should be fun.
I was thinking about upgrading logic buuuut, I’ll wait.

Re: I need help High Passing
Various FET and even tube mic's have 'em. Old EV's, RE320, MD421's, SM7b ... Remember when mixing consoles *didn't* have high pass filters? I do, and thats because either the mics did, or, you used an inline pad/filter, but, it was found to be much better to have pads and filters at or in the conso...

Re: Toft ATB-16 w/ Meter Bridge (Balanced Direct Outs)
Great console to mod/upgrade to an amazimg desk, great stock. Have you done mods to one? I’m giving serious thought to keeping it and slapping some Jim Williams PIP preamps into it. It’s served me really well, and until I have a ton more stellar outboard pre’s, I’m probably well-served to keep it. ...

He was an awesome guy. His brother looks just like him, he caught me staring on a Fleetwood Mac tourbus, he owns the tourbus company, also a great cat!

Re: RIP Rocco

One night Will Lee was there and they invited him up to play, and the difference was amazing, Will was great, but a totally different vi...

Neil was great, I got to play with him for two days in NYC, he was really a great person, said if Rush hadn’t taken off he’d be in a Zep cover band. I laughed, he was serious, then he played some Bonham and nailed the shit out of it! I was like “dude, you could totally do that”.
