#101 Being Offended May 28, 2008 by clander from stuffwhitepeoplelike.com To be offended is usually a rather unpleasant experience, one that can expose a person to intolerance, cultural misunderstandings, and even evoke the scars of the past. This is such an unpleasant experience that many people de...

Gentleman Jim, I totaly agree with you. Like I said I can only speculate why dude was so pissed. I'm a stickler for starting on time whether anybody is in the room or not. On occasion though, I have shown up to play a show and was told to start BEFORE the time posted on the door, and even once BEFOR...

After watching Parts 1 and 2 it is clearly evident that they were puposefully just wasting time. Someone must have done a good job of pissing them off or telling them to hurry up and play or something. I wasn't there so I can only go on speculation. Also if I thought something was so horrible I woul...

Never done any recordings but did have the great fortune of having them use my place as a rehearsal pad for a week in preparation for a US tour. Oddly, I've never had a recording discussion with them before. I think Jamie does, or did, most of the recording himself. Not totally sure, though.

8 channel stage/drop snakes on the cheap

So I'm looking for a 50' or longer 8 channel stage snake for running up to my attic and/or down to my basement. It's just for hobby so nothing too expensive. Does anyone have any experience with the Jade Audio snakes that Musician's Friend sells? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jade-Audio-8Ch...

I would suggest getting an early start on the types of foods that will make up your "tour diet". That way you find out which foods sit well and which don't.
