I've got a Buchla on the workbench for some TLC. I have to replace a banana jack that's in the center of the panel, under a rats nest of wires. Not looking forward to that.
Sounds like a real nightmare, better let me take it off your hands so you wont have to worry about it! ; )

Just bought a Moog Prodigy. A couple months ago i had never owned an analog synth in my life and then I traded for a liberation, picked it up from being fixed last week. And before I left bought the prodigy. Life is good. :D

The microkorgs are alright, I wouldn't mind one for the vocoder but its no analog synth. Im not saying its doesn't have its place but I like the hands on control of a mono synth and I like the imperfect nature of them but Id love to buy a new analog monosynth I didn't have to get worked on.

Ok, just to follow up, turning the little trim pot just tunes it up, nothing to be scared of ; ). Also, this thing makes great kick and bass drop sounds (for you metal kids) if you use the lfo as a primitive EG. Its ended up on two or three clients songs already and I've run a bunch of stuff through...

If you have one of those cards that you can download games to there are tons of great free homebrew programs for making all kinds of sweet music and sound but Nitrotracker is my favorite. As far as music, I don't have any online its all just on my ds lol.

If it was just tuning I know it would be due to warm up but it can be on for 20 min and as you're playing osc 2 will suddenly kick in out of nowhere. I've got some new switches and sliders to install here soon so I might check into the black foam (which I imagine will be in there and need removed) a...

Moog warm up.

So I just got my moog liberation back from the shop which built a new power supply in out box for it. I got it in an unplayable state but now that it works I've noticed that for the first half hour things are a little weird. The after touch stays on when it shouldn't be and the second osc. doesn't w...

Just picked up my Moog liberation from the shop. I traded it for studio time but it didn't have the power supply in/out box (which makes it a paper weight without it) but I found a shop willing to build one from scratch. So now sees up and running.

I've never looked at the spec sheet and it might have been an imp. mismatch but most of the time it is a beefier sound but at certain times I've pulled it off of things because it just sounded thin or hollow on it. It wasn't a low or mids thing it was more of an upper mids thing. But ymmv its just w...

I've used mine a bunch and still haven't tried it on bass although I really need to try it, but It does great on vocals (i've used it on screaming vocals) and also a lot on guitar amps and most of the time it does have a really full thick tone, although it also sounds a little hollow at times even w...

You try it first, huh?
I could probable do that. So far I've had no reason to be in tune with anything yet.

There is a little trim pot on the top side (same side as the input and output) that you can use to tune it.
