A Couple Of Things I'm Selling On eBay

Haven't been on the forum lately, but oh well. I have 2 lists for a Callaham T-Model acoustic guitar and a 1927 Martin 2-17 parlor acoustic guitar. I will also be listing, a Korg MS-10 analog mono-synth w/original shipping box and manuals, a Linn LM-1 drum machine with the engraved buttons and long-...

FS Pearlman TM-1

Dave Pearlman's U47 Inspired Tube Mic Before I list it on eBay, I'm giving TapeOpers (and Gearslutz) a chance to buy it off of me. I paid $1600 for it and it took 3 months to build (at least the waiting list was that long). If you want this right away, I have it. This one is pretty unique. It comes ...

also, how did you end up with hans zimmer's drum machine?! James Newton Howard. He was selling stuff on eBay (actually, I think it was his wife). We contacted each other and that was one of the things that he wanted to get rid of. I still have it sitting in the box. He replaced the congas with cymb...

I'm Thinking About Selling My Gear

I just got too much gear and haven't done any good with it. Money's been an issue and I'm flirting with the idea of selling my gear. I'm just depressed and frustrated. Almost want to give up on music altogether. Some of the things that I have that I know is worth some good change. An unused, in box ...

People (like me) like to bitch about everything and anything just so we don't have to change ourselves 'cos we know we suck. It drives me crazy knowing that I have everything I need to make music. Sometimes I troll on the net looking for something obscure that I never knew existed but must have, so ...

Analog Synth Repair In Houston, Texas

I need to get my Korg MS-10 looked at for my tuning woes. Anyone know of an analog synth repair in Houston, Texas?

I vote for Fender Champion 600. Bright-eyed, honest, and bell-like...or is that my 1952 Telecaster? Or is that my hands? Ahhh!!!

Maybe not Larry, 'cos he's a busy bee, but some of the other more diligent DIYers here.

I found a coupla' other home recording podcasts and well it's pretty good but very adult contemporary. They seem to love that treble EQ. Ugh...

TapeOp Podcast

I heard the nowcastnetwork.com podcast, which is more for high-end studios. Pretty cool, but are there any podcasts like TapeOp?

I've played a 60's Beatle's Harmony bass...pure bliss! And stand-up basses always sound good! But lots of it have to do with the player. I play with a light touch to get more dynamics and subtlety. Some players, like Stuart Hamm, play with a totally compressed sound. Paul McCartney has a small but w...

I've done pretty cool stuff on GarageBand, which is pretty fucked up 'cos we stuck a PZM mic on the wall going into a SmokeyAmp as a pre and into his Apple G5. One of the most unconventional ways I've recorded...but it was just on the fly and we weren't concerned about anything other than the perfor...
