any other suggestions? i used to use the 1066 on mixes and felt so-so about it, although haven't tried it in years. i've done the multiple mix busses with different compression on them, and blended them, but i don't have enough busses to do this all the time when i mix, unless i fundamentally change...

Recommend A Mix Compressor < $600, Please!

I've got several compressors, but I'm not sure I dig any for the mix bus.... I have been using Finalizer Express (i know, i know) and while it's certainly not perfect, i do like that by changing the compression mode in the little 5x5 box that I can change the EQ somewhat too, usually helping me with...

CAD Trion 7000 on Guitar?

On some guitar message boards I see people raving about these mics, but also realize that they may or may not have the same ear/desires as engineers over on this board... so I figured I'd see if anyone has tried this here and their thoughts? also, wondering if people have any experience with them in...

FS: PAIA Effects Pedal Kits (New) and E.H. Bassballs (Used)

At some point I thought I could get really into building PAIA effects pedals kits, yet it never happened, so i have multiple, unopened, untouched kits that I'm looking to sell. Not sure what to ask for them, all listed prices are slightly below what PAIA charges for them, and they are out of stock o...

Speeding Up a Mix - HELP!

I've got a client who's looking to speed up a mix, and i've tried using the 'tempo' editoor in audacity but it's making some pretty bad artifacts. leaving me with two questions: a) would anyone with the ability to do so be willing to adjust the tempo of a few short songs if i put them on an ftp? b) ...

Plug In Vocal Remover?

I'm doign this project with someone where for fun they just want to add their own vocals to older songs. Free or demo software would be best as this might be the only time i need to use it. Any reccomendations would help, i'll be running it with Peak on a Mac.

Thanks
