Yes! I was playing on a session like this very recently, at occasional TapeOp poster Federal Donut Dave's place in Anacortes. Classical guitars, a piano, drums, bass and whatnot in a big, big firehall with some awesome mics and preamps to 1/2" 8-track. I'm really itching to hear the finished songs. ...

I have a modest little setup at my farmhouse here. It's sure nice opening the door and having a horse look in. She tried to come in once, which would have been a problem.

I'm relatively inexperienced, but I've been really happy with the sounds I get combining a Royer 121 and a Stapes in various positions.
