Hey friends- My bandmate and super cool friend had a bunch of stuff stolen from his project studio/house yesterday morning (while he was asleep!). Please make a mental note and keep an eye out for the sleezeballs who may be trying to sell it. Here's a patial list: 20" imac 320 GB HD from early '08 T...

I have had nothing but great experiences with Jay Frigoletto. I have not had any experiences with Scott, but I have had him recommended by people I trust a few times.

Good luck

The connector is a 19 pin jobbie. I don't have a clamp style ammeter - just a couple of multimeters. I suppose I could insert one of them in between one of the 25VDC rails at the PCB and the leads to the connector.

Once again - sorry to hijack!

Cheers,

If you can track down surplus Power One supplies, then they might not be as expensive as you're thinking. In which case, a complete cut over might not be so problematic. I'll check into that option. I was spec'ing on the Acopian site, which I realize is high end. ...if not, what sort of numbers wer...

Hope y'all don't mind me hopping in on this conversation, but I am in a similar boat with our PM2K... To fully replace the supplies in a PM1000, you need to do the 44V and 48V, but also the 13V bulb rail and the 12V headphone amp rail. Seems to be similar in our PM2K (except the audio amp rails are ...

FS: Lowered $ - PowerMac G5 Quad, MacBook, LSR Monitors

Oppers: Mill Town is making the jump to PT9 /Snow Leopard and it won't support the G5 processor, so I need some $$ for a new computer. On the block: PowerMac G5 Quad - runs great. Just put 4 G of new RAM in it. 250G drive. Currently running 10.5.8. Has Firewire and USB. Killer Native or HD machine f...

Thanks for that. Great read and indeed nice job on the interview. I like how you peeled back the layers of the onion instead of just perpetuating what most people initially latch on to. It was interesting after reading the "Gritty" stuff a few years ago too...

Built some "H-Pads" into a short cable XLR barrel. Cheap and easy - Google H Pad. Works with my condensers too.

I have a round-neck Regal with a Quartermann cone in it. It sounds great and I think the whole schebang was around $500 or $600 with a case at the time. Gary at Acoustic Outfitters in Stratham NH set me up. He has to to some work to get the Quartermann in there, but it was a huuuge improvement over ...

Thing is, this head doesn't have an FX send, or dedicated "line out", hence my question: would this be safe to do? Just to clarify - No this is not safe to do. Not for your audio interface, your direct box or your amp - I'm just hoping that you already gleaned this info from other people's helpful ...
