I Need Advice!
I currently own Event ASP8's and I was thinking about getting something smaller like a Adam A7 or a Focal Solo 6. Any thoughts? My new control room is smaller and the ASP8's are tough to mix on in them. I don't want a hyped speaker I hear the A7 and Solo6 translate well

Has anyone use the Zildjian 12" Special Recording Hi-Hats? Would they work in a rock situation. I was looking for hi hats with a clean sound when they are opened up. My new beats sound too trashy for the studio. Also thinking about getting 14 mastersounds. I was told that the mastersounds are more q...

Hello, No as I wrote above I'm using a folcrom for summing. The folcrom is a 16 input passive summing mixer and you use whatever preamp you want for the make up gain. The dangerous already has a preamp built in the folcrom doesn't. I just want a nice preamp that isn't t to colorful and has a nice ef...

After the folcrom so just two channels. The folcrom is summing 16 channels to two outputs. I was thinking maybe the J99 has enough bandwidth for a whole mix. Everyone talks about summing but I never get a good sense of what is being used. I don't want to color the sound too much. I tried an api 312 ...

Anyone using any of the Seventh Circle Preamps for summing after a folcrom? Which preamp have you used with succes. I was thinking the J99 would rule for this app.

Enough Power for ISO Headphones
I have a few of the vic firth and extreme isolation headphones. My drummer records to a click at times and it's really hard to get any kind of volume into them. Do I need a better headphone amp.I'm using the headphone amps in my central station. I like the iso headphones because you don't get click ...

Hehe Hey Eddie, You are lucky I'm in the middle of moving so I had to pass on that board. Congrats on that beast of a board. I Enjoyed my 32 channel topaz I regret selling it. How does it compare to the Scorpion and TS. I know it should be a world of difference but what do you hear? Well, this is a ...
