Tung Sol Reissues
I just put these in my amp and they do sound pretty incredible. I had groove tubes in there before. No comparison.

Studiomaster Trilogy 326
I have the opportunity to pick one of these boards up for fairly cheap. A number of the channels have gone dead, but I don't need all of them anyway. Does anyone have experience with these? Opinions?

Mine has two EL84s and a 10 inch celestion, so it does the chimey thing real well but can also do a go...

What small board to buy?
I'm looking for a small mixdown board. I want something warm to use with my 3340s. I don't need 24 channels or anything, probably more like 8 to 12. I'm really interested in something besides the Mackie I've been using (I'm tired of that sound). I've already got some nice pres and mostly need the bo...

OK I just got through a test run night for thsi project. I started out with an SM58beta on vocals, one channel of acoustic guitar pickup through a DI, one channel of MK012 on guitar, and another MK012 in the room. I used Hamptone and VMP2 tube preamps and ran into a Tascam 2488. I used the effects o...

I like the image of the performer having to wind his way through a labyrinth of mics, stands, and chords to get to his stool. Nothing wil...
