I recently bought a seagate external drive to transfer about 24 songs from a DAW to the external drive. The Daw is using Lexicon Omega interface with Cubase Le being the recording software used. Having no idea how to transfer these audio tracks properly,I just went ahead and tried to.On the external...

By clicking on the My Computer icon I got to the c "audio" drive where it says that 34.28gb of have been used.
Its called c audio.
When I get the external drive I assume all I have to do is pass that entire drive to my external?Am I on the right track here?

Printing them out to an audio file?
Sounds good.
Now if I only knew how to do that.


As far as an external drive goes....I wonder what capacity it would need to be?
I'm a low-budget kinda guy.

Each folder had about 15 songs on it and the size of each shows up to be though the properties tab as 4.00 KB.
I only recorded about 8 channels per song as they are unfinished.

I'm considering selling my entire home studio...It consists of monitors,a tower bought off sweetwater as well as the lexicon omega interface as a whole. The thing is,the tower only has a cd and dvd player...not a burner..and I want to sell it integral as I recieved it so I don't want to take out the...

What exactly is a cross fade and what is the use and best implementation of it?
