DBX repair in NYC

I am looking for someone in New York City that can repair my DBX 900 series modules. I have a 903, 904, and a 906 that all need a little attention. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a dbx 900 with 903's 905's and a 906. I don't know what else fits in the rack, but I thought that you would want to know that the Valley People cards DO NOT fit. I bought a gain brain off of ebay and the connectors don't line up at all.

I highly recommend recording at Allaire, it is located on top of a mountain just outside of Woodstock, NY. I made a record there with my band a couple of years ago and it was an amazing experience. At the time that we made our record it was a little less expensive than many of the other residential ...

I really like the Gefell UMT 70s for vocals, I also use it as a mono overhead for drums, and an acoustic guitar mic. Mercenary Audio sells them for $1,450.

Thanks for the opinions. I have decided to build one myself. I had a studio owner friend of mine come down to my space, and help me draw up plans. maybe I'll post pics when I'm done. If anyone else is wondering, I asked around a lot about the whisper rooms and NOBODY had anything good to say about t...

Whisper Room

Does anyone have first hand experience using a Whisper Room iso booth? I have found a 4'x6' booth used for $1,800, and I am not sure if I should buy it. My studio is 850 sqft, all one room, and I want to be able to record a really loud guitar or bass while tracking drums at the same time. Is the Whi...

I just want to put in a good word for the EH Frequency Analyzer. It is the least expensive and easiest to use Ring Modulator that i have used. I also own a Gonkulator, which does sound pretty crappy, and a MoogerFooger Ring Mod. The MoogerFooger is more hi-fi, but for me the Frequency Analyzer is th...

i remember reading an article about this a while ago. the bass player michael ivins said the studio, or maybe the producer, had an ancient fender bass (not sure if it was a p or a j) with like 20 year old flatwounds on it i am pretty sure that it is a fender mustang bass. i made a record at tarbox, ...

I just bought an Audioarts/Wheatstone off of craigslist in NYC, maybe it is the same one that you saw. It's a 24x8 console and the seller was asking $700 for it. I havn't had a chance to set it up yet, but I will post an opinion when I do.
