improving frequency identification
about a year ago i saw someone post a website to aid in training your ears to hear certain frequencies or multiple frequencies. i loved the site but i can't find it anymore and i've been itching to start polishing up on my frequency hearing. anyone have anything that'll help me with that?

so another dumb question... does PT work on windows XP? i want to get a protools interface (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DigiPre/) but always heard it only worked with mac. is this true? i'm reading up on a bunch of different DAW's right now and was curious. What exactly is protools? Is it just the hardware used for digital recording or is it software too?
