well i'm not trying to analyze the frequency range. it's really just a test type deal that plays different frequencies and you have to try to hear which one it is and choose the right frequency that you're hearing.

improving frequency identification

about a year ago i saw someone post a website to aid in training your ears to hear certain frequencies or multiple frequencies. i loved the site but i can't find it anymore and i've been itching to start polishing up on my frequency hearing. anyone have anything that'll help me with that?

I was browsing some gear and came across this. This thing has it all. Kind of cheesy looking but it seems to be very strong for what it is. After reading it's specs... what do yall think the pros and cons of this digital mixer is?

I'm just looking at the sweetwater website. i see tones of stuff for protools interfaces and crap but i couldn't find any legitimate software except a bunch of upgrades. that's why i was curious.

i'm reading up on a bunch of different DAW's right now and was curious. What exactly is protools? Is it just the hardware used for digital recording or is it software too? If you just want the raw session files without inserts or sends, freeze each track and press play. Then copy the files from that Project's Freeze folder onto a extrenal drive/dvd.
