Re: K&M stands?
I have One huge heavy stand for my expensive mics. A Stage Stands one with huge base with wheels. The only other ones I could recommend are the ones Terry Manning's company makes, Latch Lake. They are really well made. Sorry to intrude on this K&M thread, but I wish correct a bit of misinformation ...

Or you could check out the new micKing from Latch Lake(http://www.latchlakemusic.com/new_stand.html). Similar list price to Atlas, but heavier, sturdier, tighter, and more compact. The 28 pound base and the mondo boom clutch are just what you need to hold your SE Reflexion filter as well as your hea...

For info on slide playing in India, try Debashish Bhattacharya, there is information about him at Bob Brozman's website. Link for Brozman/Debashish http://www.bobbrozman.com/india.html. I have been manufacturing metal guitar slides for over 15 years now. They are used by Leo Kottke, Joe Walsh, Charl...

Good Guys not so good
I had QSC amp at Good Guys. After 6-8 months of no action, I started to complain. I got the amp back after over a year, and it was not repaired!!!
And they charged me. Never again. The worst service ever.

FYI: new kick a** stand from Latch Lake
Latch Lake will introduce a new more affordable stand at AES this October. The stand will be true to the legacy of the micKing, but should be more affordable for project studio people. The new stand will use the same "world's strongest boom clutch" as the micKing. The new stand uses the same Latch L...

I love the smell of Hammond oil on a summer day. It's the real thing babeeeeee! Think of yer Hammond as roughly 500 pounds of vintage inspiration.
