I'll second that emotion.
I only managed to get to two (new orleans 2005 and tucson 2007) but it really was amazing and I met some great new friends. Great work Craig and all others on putting it together. It will be missed...

I give big props on izotope rx. i've pulled out an errant click track across an entire quietly recorded string arrangement that was overdubbed 8 times across 9 mics. It got rid of everything flawlessly.

Joe Chiccarelli told me to get this amp to use with my NS10's, which he said he preferred over the Bryston we were working on at the time because he felt it was warmer. I had a couple of different Hafler's with my ns10's before this and the pc2002 blows them all away. Meatier, punchier, tighter, war...

I think we're going to be playing in small clubs with questionable PA's... as in it may be a small PA that probably doesn't have subs... so the bass coming off the stage will be responsible for most of the low end... I'm not looking for super heavy dub bass, but since bass is a pretty big part of th...

I'll be bringing my Eden WT300 amp... it's small but 300 watts...
But it sounds like this might be about as powerful as my little 1x10 GK practice amp then.

Anybody heard of Phil Jones Piranha Bass cabinets?

I'm heading on tour to Europe in January and we're being offered this for backline... does anybody know anything about a 4x5 Phil Jones Piranha 4B Extension Cabinet? https://shoppingcart.djangobooks.com/item--AAD-Phil-Jones-Piranha-4B-Extension-Cabinet--aad-phil-jones-piranha-4b.html looks interesti...

BTW we were using a quad core UAD 2 And the neve desks are out... the one in the middle room was taken out about 5 years ago to make room for the mastering rooms. The big one in the back was taken out when Matt moved in and re-oriented the control room 90 degrees to make it less claustrophobic and s...

From an interview on the Universal Audio website with Bourdeau: I understand that you switched to Cubase for this project, in order to use the UAD-2. Were you apprehensive about using Cubase? No, not at all. I actually had started playing with Cubase a few weeks earlier, because I did some tests wi...

I have to say the UAD-2 card is a game changer for recording for me. It's scary what that card can do and the stuff that UA is planning to do with it. Full disclosure: I produced the song on the product demo video trailer with matt boudreau who engineered. It was my first time seeing the card in act...

do not stop moving shit, swapping shit, hacking away in the daw/console until you have something that sounds like what you have in your head. . At what point do you have to quit worrying about whether or not you've got the perfect stereo sound and start to worry about whether or not you're going to...

I just walked past the Hayes Valley Inn on my way to the studio today.. Great neighborhood, cute little B&B and it says prices from 65 - 99 a night, which is an amazing deal for such a cool neighborhood... There are sketchy spots in the tenderloin and if it's a "hotel" they probably are sucky... but...
