I'm parting with one of my Lynx Aurora 8's. It includes the firewire card.
I've only had it for about a year. Some very light marks from rack screws, but other than that, it perfect shape. I also have original packaging.
Looking to get $1600 OBO.
PM me.

FS: Detroit: BAE 1084 racked module
Selling my BAE 1084 module racked by Vintage King. Also includes a Cinemag transformer on the D/I. Less than a year old, need to liquidate funds for bills (not fun!).
Perfect working order. Never been out of my smoke-free home studio.
Looking to get $2600 or will entertain best offers.

For sale: BAE 1084 racked
It makes me sad to do it, but I'm selling my BAE 1084 that comes in a Vintage King 2u rack. It has an upgraded Cinemag transformer on the instrument input.
It comes from my smoke-free home studio, and is in perfect condition.
$3200 OBO.
I can shoot you a picture if interested.
Thanks!

Vintage King giving away Inward Connections 500 series
I noticed that Vintage King is having a contest on their Facebook page to give away an Inward Connections 500 series module of your choice! All you have to do to enter is become a 'fan' of their Facebook page.

Why does Event have such terrible customer service?
I blew a tweeter last month in one of my ASP8's and I can't for the life of me find a replacement. I tried contacting Event's customer support email and it just came back to me saying the recipient didn't exist. Now their site is just a speaker spinning in space....there's no click-through or text s...

I bought the Cascade Elroy LD tube mic a few months ago on a whim after buying a pair of Fat Head II's and I really have enjoyed it. Great presence on vocals and out in front of a drum kit. It would be a great addition to your mic collection...and the price is nice too. I love mine. p.s. I got seria...

Detroit area intern/assistant position available
The recording studio in Ferndale MI I work for is looking for an intern/assistant engineer to start ASAP. We deal with high profile major label artists. The position is paid...not much to start, but is an amazing oppertunity with lots of room to grow. The hours are generally 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. ...

I'm trying to finish up these g1176's I'm working on, and I know that a few of you guys have done these around here. What is the model number of the 2u chasis I should get from par-metal?

I don't really think of it as a crutch. I think of it in terms of getting the material from A to B...simply a tool to capture the moment. I don't use it to fix things, and I rarely edit (my own projects that is, the day job is rap/pop engineer where fixing is practically the norm). I spend time gett...

I finally got my stereo pair of Fathead II's in the mail today!! I quickly A/B'd them with the Royer 121's I have here at the studio and the results were interesting. The Royers have always had a sort of "artificial" sound to them in the upper mids and highs and the cascades felt so much smoother to...

I use a MDC 99% of the time on snare. It works perfectly for the 70's fat snare sound I usually go for on my own stuff. I usually use a Telefunken UM57 and then go into an eq to cut out some of the overbearing 200hz. Sometimes, if I need a little more of the snares, I've grab a cheap SDC. The Oktava...

the new Bird and the Bee record
the track "I'm A Broken Heart" is one of the best Beach Boys ripoffs I've ever heard. Amazing job at getting those sounds. Anyone heard it yet?
