You're unlikely to find people selling these used. Most people buy them then install them. I don't know too many people taking apart old studios, de-soldering all their rack panels, then trying to get money for them. Check places like partsexpress.com to just order them new.

DSP's always useful to have. You can set up comp/limit/EQ plug-ins on input, meaning you can compress incoming signals (useful for dynamic instrument recording, like vocals etc.) I use my 2882 all the time and it's my favorite drum pre set. No outboard pre's. These are just crystal clear and punchy....
