MY powerbook only has one firewire port
and I am recording on a external drive
how should I hook it up? as in m-audio
1814 beetween the drive and computer
or drive between the interface and computer?

are they motrized?(your large faders) let me know if you guys cant get it under control?

does the fader screen show the master fader vca down?
or is the computer crashed, and you still have
the large faders?

I have lots of experience with ssl's I even make computer by-pass
plugs for emergency situations. the desk will still operate
but you lose all computer funtions as well as group faders.

Any luck with the ssl computer?
